Day 1 - Wednesday 13th April - Istanbul Welcome to Turkey!!' You will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel where you will meet your guide and the rest of your group. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 2 - Thursday 14th April - Istanbul
After breakfast, we enjoy a guided tour of the only city to span two continents. We visit the Blue Mosque, Aya Sofya Museum, Topkapi Palace, Underground Cistern and Hippodrome. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 3 - Friday 15th April - Istanbul to Cappadocia
After breakfast, we drive to the nation's capital, Ankara. Visit the ANZAC and Freedom Museum and the Mausoleum of Turkey's first President, Ataturk. With Ankara behind us, we head for the surreal moonscape of Cappadocia. Overnight Cappadocia.
Day 4 - Saturday 16th April - Cappadocia
Today we tour the Goreme and Zelve open-air museums, Pasabag and Uchisar castle. Photo opportunities are everywhere so have your cameras ready! Tonight, don't miss the optional Turkish folklore evening featuring folk and belly dancers … a night you won't forget! Overnight Cappadocia.
Day 5 - Sunday 17th April - Cappadocia
Today we visit the beautiful Ilhara Valley and the fascinating Derinkuyu underground city. Overnight Cappadocia.
Day 6 - Monday 18th April - Cappadocia to Antalya
Leaving Cappadocia we head south along an ancient silk trail for the stunning Mediterranean Coast. We stop at the Caravansary at Sultanhani and the deep blue lake at Obruk. In Turkey's religious Capital, Konya, we tour the Mevlana Whirling Dervish Museum. Overnight Antalya.
Day 7 - Tuesday 19th April - Antalya to Fethiye
Follow the Mediterranean coast to the recently re-discovered Saklikent Gorge. Here we can tube down the river and explore the awesome canyon. Today we also visit a carpet village and learn how carpets are made by hand, what determines their value and the historical and cultural context in which this folk art has blossomed. Overnight Fethiye.
Day 8 - Wednesday 20th April - Fethiye
Boat Cruise Today we take a leisurely boat cruise around Fethiye Bay. Overnight Fethiye.
Day 9 - Thursday 21st April - Fethiye to Kusadasi via Pamukkale
Visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale and the ruins of Hierapolis, an ancient Roman resort city, before arriving at the Aegean coastal town of Kusadasi. Today we also visit a carpet village and learn how carpets are made by hand, what determines their value and the historical and cultural context in which this folk art has blossomed. Overnight Kusadasi.
Day 10 - Friday 22nd April - Ephesus
Stand in awe at the technology once used on a tour of the ruined ancient city of Ephesus and Selcuk Museum. Also visit the former Greek village of Sirince, famous for it's fruit wines, before a leather goods presentation. Turkey produces some of the finest leather goods in the world and many are made here before branding in Italy. Overnight Kusadasi.
Day 11 - Saturday 23rd April - Kusadasi to Kucukkuyu
Today we travel toward the Gallipoli battlefields and tour the ancient city of  Pergamum. Overnight in Kucukkuyu.
Day 12 - Sunday 24th April - Gallipoli
Early morning tour of Troy, the site of the famed Trojan Wars. After Troy, we tour the WWI battlefields of Gallipoli. Visit Lone Pine Australian Memorial and Chunuk Bair New Zealand Memorial, ANZAC Cove, Johnston's Jolly and the Kaba Tepe Gallipoli Museum. Tonight, enjoy a relaxed before heading to the site of the ANZAC Dawn Service. Keep warm in your sleeping bag under the stars with the thousands of others waiting for the sun rise. Overnight at Dawn Service.
Day 13 - Monday 25th April - ANZAC
Day at GallipoliAwake before sun rise to the ANZAC Dawn Service. We become aware of the almost deafening silence as we commemorate our fallen forefathers on this special day. Also attend the Australian &/or New Zealand Memorial services. After the services, we drive back to Istanbul. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 14 - Tuesday 26th April - IstanbulIn
the morning we tour the remarkable Dolmabache Palace. After lunch, we cruise the exotic Bosphorous passing by ancient forts and palaces. Overnight Istanbul.
Day 15 - Wednesday 27th April - Istanbul
Transfer to the airport.
