overwhelmed with goods, people, smells, noises and atmosphere. We

1. Day:
Flight to Istanbul Greeted by your tour guide. Transfer
to hotel.
2. Day: ISTANBUL
Full day city tour according. "Ottoman and Byzantine Istanbul" Full day
city sightseeing tour of Istanbul's monuments. It
begins with the Süleyman Mosque, the work of
architect Mimar Sinan, and one of the most beautiful
mosques of the city. Then it continues to the
Hippodrome, a Roman arena where horse carriage races
and gladiator fights took place. You can see the
snake column, the Egyptian obelisk and the German
fountain. Afterwards there is a visit to the famous
Blue Mosque unique for its exquisite blue tiles and
its six minarets. The program continues with a visit
to Santa Sophia, one of the most important church
monuments in the Christian world.
After lunch we visit Topkapi Palace, the old
residence of the Ottoman Sultans which contains the
treasures of the times. In the afternoon there is a
walking tour in the Covered Bazaar with its

walls, up the Golden Horn and to the mosque of the
flag bearer of the Prophet, Eyüp el Ansari. This
mosque is the most important Islamic pilgrimage
place of Istanbul. Afterwards a visit to the Chora
Monastery Church, which is decorated with the most
beautiful mosaics of the Byzantine period. Then a
bus trip to the Bosphorus and lunch. In the
afternoon a boat trip up the Bosphorus passing the
beautiful Sultan Palaces and villas. Then for a new
impression on the Asian side with a visit to the
Camlica hilltop and its wonderful panoramic view.
Returning to the European side, the bus crosses the
Bosphorus bridge. Evening program according to
Istanbul by Night" After a short trip of Istanbul by night there is a
gala dinner (drinks included) in one of the best
night locals of the city with Oriental belly dance
show, folklore dancing and fun. 4. Day:

4. Day: Istanbul
Program A or
B.PROGRAM A "The
Princes Islands" Full day trip to the Princes Islands. The tour goes
by ship along the islands and stops on four of the
inhabited ones. Then there is a visit to largest of
the 9 islands, Büyükada, which was in the past a
place of exile for Byzantine Princes and Princesses.
Today this island is the summer residence of many
Istanbul families. Since there are no cars on the
island we will make a tour by horse and carriage.
This will be followed by lunch in fish restaurant.
The afternoon is open.
PROGRAM B "Country, People and Bursa" Learning, about the country and it's people. A trip
along the Marmara Sea and across the Gulf of Izmit
by Ferryboat. Then we continue to Bursa to see its
most important sights such as the Green Mausoleum,
the Green Mosque, the Great Mosque and the bazaar
which has a perfectly preserved oriental atmosphere.
In the afternoon on the way back to Istanbul we will
pass the lake of Iznik and the Gulf of Izmit

Flight back from Istanbul Transfer to airport.

Full day city trip with detailed visit of the most
important sights of Istanbul beginning with the

After lunch we will take a trip over the 1.074 meter
long Bosphorus Bridge to the panoramic hilltop of
Camlica and a tour around the Asian side of Istanbul
creating new impressions. 2. Day :

Cistern also called the sunken castle. It was the
Emperors' water reservoir. The program continues
with a visit to Santa Sophia, one of the most
important church monuments in the world. Then a bus
trip to the Bosphorus, lunch and a boat trip up the
Bosphorus passing the beautiful Sultan Palaces,
villas and picturesque bays. The boat will make a
stop on the Asian side and then back to the Galata
Bridge. 3. Day :
Full day shopping trip to the Istanbul bazaars. There
will be a Turkish handicrafts demonstration and the opportunity to
purchase economical carpets, leather goods and jeweler. This day
will include the Covered Bazaar, the Egyptian Bazaar, the famous
spice bazaar and other typical shopping areas
